Pink Floyd that is.  Over the last 10 weeks I have been working hard on my Classic Rock Workshop class.  This class has you studying the greats, Clapton, Beck, Page, Hendrix, Gilmour and many others.   I just wanted to share a few clips from a week ago.

Up first is Another Brick in the Wall.  The goal is to get the feeling of the solo and not necessarily play it note for note.  I have never really studied any of the artists we have gone through and it has been an eye opener.

Next is a jam over the chord progression from Comfortably Numb.

I didn't have my strat with me so I used my Custom Shop Dinky.  This was recorded in Cubase 5 with Amplitube 2.0.  This class has really pushed me to look closer at my lead playing.  I still have a long way to go but the last few months have been very productive in terms of me progressing.

yeah, this class forced me to look at my playing from a different perspective. A lot of what George talks about in the Dojo is easily related and sometimes you can figure out where he got his stuff from.
